Yes please, just what i want. Freeview is hopeless for a lot of us and will remain so, even after analogue is withdrawn. My Panny DVD-HDD recorder spits at me every time the picture quality dips and my Sharp breaks the picture up so a Sky box has to be connected to the Panny and the sharpe is only used for Film 4. Just bought a Humax HDR and havent used the Panny or Sharpe since, except that it has no inputs for archiving from other machines and will not transfer to DVD, only a USB drive.
My ideal machine is being proposed here. A twin Freesat HD tuner ( make it possible to record 4 channels) PVR with BLUE RAY DVD recordability and inputs to allow me to archive both analogue and digital material. if it then has two HDMI outputs so that i can use it with a projector when wanted and have excellent reproduction of Blue Ray and Standard DVD, something a lot of Blue Ray players are not good at, have good audio performance with both video and CD, all in the same box. You can have my £1000

Yes Panasonic, I have a 37inch Panasonic TV, a top end Sony HD camcorder, and when can I edit my DV tapes in HD onto disc? Why is the UK so far behind, is it the credit crunch?

why are we always the last to get new technology in the UK… well someone has to buy the (now reduced) overpriced leftover Stock…come to think of it, I don’t mind waiting a year or so for a Bargain.. Do you really want to pay £300 now when most Countries will be selling it for £200 or less.. The longer you can wait the lower they will have to price it or go bust..Keep your old stuff and stuff the hiked up prices I say.

Why are we always last on the list for new developments. It's time you got your act together Panasonic because we are desperate for the updated technology. How come you can sort the colonies out i.e. AUS, but ignore us in the UK ? Please help us now !!

I fully agree with Al. The sooner Panasonic get their act together and at least tell us what they intend to deliver the better. The longer they leave doing this, the more HUMAX PVR freesat+ units will be sold and many potential customers lost. I for one will wait for the Panny if I know it is coming.

Is it worth getting a Freeview recorder now? or will the projected unit do that as well as freesat? The Blu-ray recorder would be nice but is not of that much interest as long a big HDD is provided.

Come on Panny - why are we in the UK the last to get hold of new technology? Give us a Panny freesat+ pvr with bluray recorder and we'd snap your hands off to buy 'em!
