Sky+HD launches limited edition ‘designer’ boxes
Sky today unveiled a new collection of Sky+HD Designer Boxes, featuring exclusive and quite distinctive prints from four of the UK’s most visionary designers and image makers. The new collection combines the creative talents emerging designer Henry Holland of House of Holland; cutting edge duo PPQ; exquisite and luxury designer Erdem and avant-garde fashion illustrator Julie Verhoeven.
Panasonic Freesat PVR planned
Panasonic have decided the UK version of its twin HD tuner, 500GB and built in blu-ray recorder, will be tailored for satellite rather than Freeview. Discussions with Freesat took place this summer. Freesat will be introducing Freesat+ next month - its digital recorder platform - which includes advanced recording features. Humax is providing the first available high definition twin tuner PVR with Freesat+ branding around the same time.

Sky To Deploy Channel Stacking Multi-switches To Single Cable Homes

Panasonic Give Their Views On A Panasonic Freesat Blu-Ray Recorder For UK

Panasonic have been in contact with PVR Junction this morning to provide further information about Blu-Ray recorder developments. The electronics giant are currently studying how to come into the UK market with blu-ray high definition recorders, and they do find the Freesat platform today as having the most potential.

If you own an LCD or Plasma TV the chances are it has a slot on the side or back. Neotion has just announced a credit card sized PVR that simply goes into that slot, enabling you to pause and rewind live TV, or record TV programmes.
